Road Policing Capacity Building ProgrammE WITH THE GLOBAL ROAD SAFETY PARTNERSHIP

The primary role of the Road Policing Senior Officer is to provide technical advice and guidance to support implementation of the Road Policing Capacity Building programme by providing road policing expertise,guidance and support to relevant police and traffic enforcement agencies in the BIGRS focused cities mostly in Latin America.

The appointee will be expected to continuously review and provide direction to optimise current road policing and traffic enforcement practice in each of the BIGRS cities and to design and deliver relevant training workshops, provide on-the-ground coaching and mentoring, and other good practice capacity building activities.

UN Civil Society Conference: Engaging Youth for Sustainable Transformation

These projects exemplify successful community-driven urban regeneration initiatives that integrate environmental, social, and infrastructural development.

EASST with support from the FIA Sustainable Mobility Programme is offering a short online course on an introduction to Disability Awareness and will help you understand how to make your public transport services more accessible and inclusive of the needs of people with disabilities so they can travel independently and with confidence.

Global road safety leadership course

The Global Road Safety Leadership Course (GRSLC) is a two-week biannual course that aims to build leadership capacity to design, advocate for, and implement effective road safety programmes and policies. It is offered by the Global Road Safety Partnership and Johns Hopkins University’s International Injury Research Unit (JH-IIRU).

Road Traffic Injury Prevention and Control in Low- and Middle-Income Countries

This free, online training certificate program is comprised of six required multimedia educational modules, and one advanced module, this comprehensive program covers a wide range of topics. This is an ongoing program offered by the John Hopkins University.

Master in Transportation Sciences

This master has a multi-disciplinary take on transportation including psychological, social, urban, environmental and infrastructural aspects. Students approach the current and future transportation challenges from different angles, integrating knowledge and skills from different domains.

Master in road safety management

The course focuses on public administrations in charge of transport and road traffic risks, private enterprises (engineering and road management companies, passenger transport transport companies and merchants, insurance companies), NGOs concerned.
